Today I just had to snap my own pics.
If you're wondering what Assistant Mufasa clawed out in order to make space for his wiry body, it was The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama, The Only EKG Book You'll Ever Need by Malcolm Thaler and The US Army Survival Guide. Very interesting reading, indeed! (That's his copy of Twilight, by the way :D).
What are you and your cats reading?
The only book I recognize is. Harry Potter lol. And I haven't even read THAT. XD I just finished Sucha Rush by Jennifer Echols and it was SUCH A RUSH. :O SO GOOD. Now onto Possession by Elana Johnson! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI only recognize Hush, Hush, Harry Potter, and Twilight haha! OH AND THE GIVER! I really loved that one ..possibly the only school book that I enjoyed. :)

ReplyDeleteWell, I trade/give away most of my books, so those represent a few books I wanted to keep and refer to for one reason or another. And Hush, Hush--most beautiful cover EVER. I would buy that poster-size for my wall. Yay for The Giver--old-school dystopian before it was cool.
ReplyDeleteBut others on that shelf you should read include:
Going Bovine by Libba Bray
Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery (I'll be nice and not make you read the Korean translation since I also bought it in French and English)
and The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran
And if you're feeling like an adult book, that Dean Koontz is called Odd Thomas and it is a gorgeous story of love, death, Elvis, and fry cooks. (But it's in first person and I know you don't like that M).
The covers for the Hush, Hush series are beautiful. Just look at FINALE! Patch shirtless ..possibly the one thing I approve from him. :) The Giver is awesome. The original dystopian novel oh and The Anthem by Aya Rands (something like that) was awesome too.
DeleteLibba Bray! I have heard so much from her ..now I need to get it on my Kindle soon. Fiona, my and other languages to don't mix well. I still think "wee" in French means pee. (which says a lot for my mental age)
I like 1st person! I have no problem with it ..I just love 3rd person a lot more. I have not read one adult book! Yet, anyway. This Koontz seems like an awesome start. :)

OH HEY. THERE IS HUSH HUSH. @_@ I'm blind lol. Also, randomly, I LOVE Sharon Creech! Her books got me reading. After my Nancy Drew kick LOL
ReplyDeleteHAHA Don't worry! I just barely saw it ..its okay :)
